Our biblical confession
The one God made known in Jesus Christ.
Jesus is not a second or lesser divine being alongside God. He is the image of the invisible God, and in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
There is one God.
This site confesses the Bible's unwavering testimony that there is one God. He is the invisible Spirit, the Creator and Savior, and He has made Himself fully known in Jesus Christ. The truth of Jesus begins inside Scripture's unbroken confession: “The Lord our God is one Lord.”
The Word was made flesh.
Jesus is the Word made flesh, the image of the invisible God, and the brightness of His glory. He does not merely bring information about God or stand as a lesser representative of God. In Jesus, the God who cannot be seen has truly made Himself known.
Jesus is fully God.
In Jesus Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Nothing of deity is absent from Him, and no deeper revelation of God waits beyond Him. He is not one divine person among three coequal persons. The one invisible God has revealed His fullness bodily in Jesus Christ.
Jesus is truly human.
Jesus was born, lived without sin, suffered, died, was buried, and rose again. His genuine humanity does not diminish His deity. The One who came among us is Emmanuel, God with us. God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself.
We receive all the language of Scripture.
Scripture speaks truly of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and we refuse none of its words. We understand them within the Bible's confession that God is one: the Father is the invisible God; the Son is the Word made flesh; the Holy Spirit is God present and active by His own Spirit. The Sonship is God's real coming in flesh, not a second divine being beside Him.
To see Jesus is to see the Father revealed.
When Philip asked to see the Father, Jesus answered, “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” He declared that the Father dwelling in Him performed the works. We do not move past Jesus to find another or fuller God. We look to Jesus and behold the only true God as He has chosen to make Himself known.

More than a position
If all the fullness of God is found in Jesus, knowing Him is the highest pursuit possible.
Paul counted every former gain as loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus his Lord. The same inexhaustible pursuit remains open: see Him, know Him, love Him, obey Him, and be changed by His glory.
